Because of IKE, I have had to cancel my trip to our South Texas lease. I can clear my schedule in order to hunt Saturday. I want to go no more than 2 hrs from Houston, I have to be back to work on our Clear Lake house Sunday. If anyone has a spot open in a group, or knows of a reputable outfitter, I really need to go. I will bring my s-i-l, my wife is delivering furniture to Austin and attending our daughter's baby shower. I am a very experienced, safe hunter, willing to pay.

Found a day lease near kendelton. Never hunted with this outfitter, we will see if he has birds.

Let us know what it's like and what it costs ... I for one wouldn't mind driving less than 6 hours to shoot dove. Looks like I'm right down the road from you and in the same boat.
