I have tied a fly that I have never seen befor and, am wondering. is there a place that you can go to find out? any advice will be great. Thanks.

I don't know to be honest. I have never sold a fly before. I tie them to fish with myself and sometimes for friends but, never have sold any. I really don't even know what a fly costs. let me look around and I can tell you but, if you tie, I will show you how to do it yourself if you want.

Standard rate is about $4.99/pair or $2.50 ea. for heavily dressed flies like that. you can name a fly whatever you want if it's your design. take a look at salmon and steelhead flies, there seems to be no rhyme or reason in some of the names.

I'd keep it simple, something like flats assassin, red candy, etc....

let me know if you want to sell them or maybe give out the pattern, I'd be interested in some or tying up a few!

I agree the "Twitch-Twitch" Shrimp sounds pretty good

I wanted to name it "Minter Shrimp" kinda like the "Clouser minnow". As soon as we get set up at the house and I can get some time, I will make a tutorial showing how to tie it. It isn't that hard and I have a few variations to the idea I would like to show. When a lot of people start tying a fly, you get so many cool ideas. That is what I love so much about Fly fishing! I have never met a group of people who are so willing to share! It reminds me of stories of the 50's and 60's of surfing. Where surfers all got together and built someone a board in the backyard. That is the way it should be.
