[Saltwater Servitude]

This is about as good as I can get. I've already done some damage to the image integrity, blown the highlights on the plumage, lost some detail on the shadows, but I was working on the plumage of spoonbill and the bill of the whistler. Too much more emphasis, and I end up with pink mud.

you can use mask layers to make the adjustments to the birds only/individually without changing the color of the mud. If you want, send me the original and I'll clean it up. I can send you the photoshop file so you can actually see the layers/masks if you would like.

That's definitely a lot better than the original. Not something I would have been able to do either.
