I mentioned this a couple of months ago about my friends Tom and Denize Allbritton. She is still in CCU at Tomball Regionall Hospital. Their bills are pilling up and we are having a fundraiser for them this next weekend.

There are some awesome things that have been donated. I worked on a small webesite to try to get the information out. This is the link:

There are many more items coming in, daily. No telling what you might see there. The BBQ will be awesome and Legate and crew will be in the house! This couple have been through too much. Tom has not left her side since she was admitted. He goes home at 2 or 3 in the morning to shower and clean up. They need all the support they can get!

If you are free on Saturday, and you like BBQ, and good music, please help a friend of mine.

It's done! What a remarkable thing today. Attendance was light but the results were awesome. David and I played together for about five hours. We had a great time together on stage. The auction and raffle netted about $10,000. A drop in the bucket, but still an awesome display of giving. Thanks to all that helped. Denize is home, now, and I can't help but think that is a good thing.

A call from a friend.. A call for a cause ... Its all good

I was proud to be available for the benefit today.. Denize needed us, her husband needed us, and we were there.. I makes the heart feel good.. the turnout was light, but the spirit was there.. My fingers hurt from playing 2 nights in a row, but its a good hurt.. Rick my friend, i am always forever there for you if you need me. That goes to all my TTMB friends.. As we grow older, albeit not much wiser, we will need each other more and more.. I feel blessed to have this family.. Peace..
