There is a reason I like live bait. You never no where the imitators of live bait realy come from.
But, If you have to use a lure might as well go with a good one.

Looking forward to your new trolling lure. Reasonably priced is a big issue to most of us, especially since fuel prices have gone so high. I would also like to big Snapper Slapper a plug. When there was an issue of quality control, I contacted Woody and he made it right instead of shrugging and saying "oh, well" like many other companies do. I continue to use snapper slappers because they are a stand up company, and because they work.

I use Snapper Slapper lures for 2 reason.

1. They catch fish. Period. The snapper slapper with the stinger hook is an awsome bait. Also, their cedar plugs are great for catching kings when rigged with Malin wire.

2. I like supporting the "Home Team" and Woody & Russell are great guys. Their headquarters are in Texas City, TX. and I would recommend stopping by their shop sometime. Also, if you have a problem with their lures then they are only a phone call away.

I'm buying SS lures for the same reasons. To illustrate - I PM'd Woody about some stinger hooks, and he sent me a few replacements free of charge. Very few companies, much less fishing lure companies (and reading the thread above you can see why), stand behind their product the way they do.

So I'm looking forward to the next design that Woody & Russell will put their name on.

New Jets Heads

The jet heads will be out for sale by the end of the month. We will have a limited quanity for the first shipment but we have a big order in production now. Yes they will be nylon skirted and chrome heads and big red glass eyes. Retail will be $14.95 for the large ones and $13.95 for the medium. Colors are red/black,pink/white,blue/white,purple/black,green/chrt,blue/chrt.We will post picts as soon as we get them in in a week or two.I will post up a couple of picts tomorrow when I get to office.
