El Meson on Univeristy. Cuban/Mexican. Hungry's is good too. Goode and Company has three different themes, Tex Mex, BBQ and Fish. And you can never go wrong with Houston's.

The Deli, Murphy's in the St. Lukes Towers has incredible food and salad bar.

Take it from a tall fat middle aged guy, the food is good, lol.

Been eating there a lot lately with having to take Daddy in and out of there.

I back Murphy's deli also, the muffalato is awesome, Fred's Italian, what Reel love said. It is a good italian restaurant that you will not be disappointed. I have worked here in the med center for the last 11 years, these 2 are great. Also, the UT School of nursing has Mom's Pizza in the ground floor, some of the best pizza around.

I'll second Freds. there is also a good Italian place on Holcombe in an old house. Bon Apettite I think. It's between Main and Greenbriar. For burgers, Millers in the building next to the crown plaza

Go early and get a smoked cheeseburger, best in town. They start serving at 11:00 a.m. until they run out.
