I'm going to make some phone calls tomorrow but maybe some of you can let me know in advance. Have the hotels/motels survived Ike? Thinking about heading down there in a couple of weeks.

I was down there yesterday and today fishing and drove through town and didn't see a single bit of damage...all the hotels are just as normal.

Our area barely got any rain and just a little wind. I have not seen any substantial damage anywhere in the area.
