First off my family wants to extend our deapest sympathy to the folks in Ike's path. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we hope for a speedy recovery for all.

Second we just wanted to let everyone know that the Matagorda are is pretty much back to normal. Most all places are open. Beach road is clear all the way to the beach and the beach itself is clear. Fishing is great for you folks that can get down. If anyone has any questions or would like to see pictures of their house in this area let me know I will snap some shots and email then to you.

Linda'a is 22 miles East of Matty located in Sargent!

Everything is good in Sargent. Electricity and water are both on and working fine. Clean-up still going on but progress is being made. Bait camps I think are up and running for the most part. Linda's no longer is operational, CLOSED. We fill very blessed we missed this one. We will pray for all that weren't.
