"TEAM DRAMAMINE" Ben Reyna, Rich Burkholder, David Mata & Jack Brumby all from San Antonio were fishing aboard Ben's 26' GB "REEL SMOOTH" out of Port Mansfield on Saturday 7-31 had another great day of blue water fishing! Rich broke the ice with the first AJ at 50lbs followed by Jack pulling up a nice AJ around 60lbs only to have David hall in another very large Amber Jack estimated at easily over 80lbs. Rich also managed to catch a healthy 15lb sow Snapper, Jack landed an African Pompano and David reeled in a Magnum Barracuda in addition to a couple of Dog Snapper, a Strawberry Grouper & a couple of small Sharks to round off the days catch. A great time was had by all and special thanks to my good friend Ben for making it all possible and allowing me to share in another great fishing adventure in the Gulf of Mexico. A real team effort....... Richman-Out!

Ya'll are the guys that catch the Mako's out of Pt. Mansfield, right? I have never had any interest catching a shark, but if I could consistently go out and tie into a big Mako I would do it
How was the Mako bite this year, I did not hear anything?

Mako Bite
The Mako Bite was there, but we couldn't get the weather. Jeff came in from Florida, but we got a few hours on Monday morning and a few on Saturday. Mike was on the rod w/ the only one we hooked on Monday and Mike and Richman had a hook in one together and it wasn't to be. we had three hook ups on Saturday. Mako's 4 - Reel Smooth 0. They Won! Never got to tag any.

Nobody told me he was Robert Plant!!!!! I taught he was Chris Winstons brother. Who ever he is, if wants to fish with me this trip or any trip he's On Board!

So his name really is Jack. I still say he's got those wierd calves like Jeff Shindle. Thats where Popeye got them!!!

Just got back! I'm in on the MO BIGGER ONE!! We did pretty good this weekend too. Richmans working on the post. I have'nt figured out the pic part yet..
