Mine is keeping a bottle of Flor De Cana Rum nice and toasty right now. The kids got more of a kick out of it than anyone. They swore up and down it was sent by Santa to keep their Elf on the Shelf warm.

I got 3 of them, guess cause I am a Senior Ambassador ! Only thing is they are for the middle size bottle and I always buy the big one - 1.75L. I have also seen them put on little puppies on the MM's website.

William, how did you get the pic of the plaque? I hope it was not in an email that I deleted. I still use the bourbon balls from last year.

 

I got it off of the MM site. Its been a few years so I don't remember exactly where or how.

It was in the Ambassador section and I think it was under my profile labeled as My Barrel.

I did get that. I was wondering if they let you know how much time is left until they let you bottle from your barrel.

 

When did you get yours? Our barrel numbers are close and a lower number than his, but it appears that does not matter because it could take 5,6, or 7 years according to the site.

 

I have been info for 2 years or so. I better check my profile.

I got my sweater in the mail the other day! Disappointed that it does not fit the larger bottle, but happened to have a bottle of makers 46 and it fits nicely! What's the average timeframe for the barrel with your name to take?

I got mine on Monday. At first I thought it was a black beach ball or something. Then I figured out that black plastic was an envelope.

I pulled out that little sweater and the wife snatched if from my hands and threw it on a bottle of wine. If she wasn't there it would have ended up in here Christmas stocking any way.

William, I think I understand your question. When your barrel is ready you will get this and on it the dates you have to go up and not only claim your bottles from your barrel, but get to dip your own bottles. Someone here has pictures of him doing that, but I won't mention his name. Rusty
