Today I traded in my 2017 GMC Sierra1500 Z71 5.3L for this baby. Dealer even let me test drive it with my boat to see how it pulls. I’m beyond impressed with the power, shifting, suspension, everything. The 5.3 didn’t impress me at all in my GMC when towing.
I just bought my wife a new Expedition with 3.5L and towing package which comes with a 3:73 rear end. That thing will get up and go and pulls the boat great. She’s had it two weeks and is getting almost 19mpg around town too. That 10 speed transmission really helps. You’ll love your truck.
Before I pulled the trigger, I searched some F150 threads on here and I was sold with what everyone said about pulling with the ecoboost. My father in law also pulls his center console which is about 4 feet longer than mine and says it’s a breeze. Can’t wait to make some long hauls down south.
Congrats, still miss my 2017 F250, but the F150 fits my bill just fine.
