Day after Christmas had the choice to go Deer hunting or bay fishing. It was cold and drizzly all day, but no wind so decided on fishing. I would say it was a good choice. 4 of us went out and braved the conditions. Jumped around to 3 different spots. Found the 3 spot and then didn't move at all. Ended up with these reds for the fish fry. Caught and released countless more. I was surprised that we caught nothing but reds. No black drum, trout, flounder or hardheads. We docked the boat off at Adolph Thomae park in Arroyo City and went north about 10 miles. Almost to Port Mansfield. Fun day. 10 yr old nephew caught his first reds. He ended up boating about 6 of them. Had a blast.
