Finally got the boat back from the shop a day or 2 ago and yesterday I launched at Fatboys around noon to do some scouting for todays trip. After about an hour, the fog got so thick that you couldnt see the end of your cast so I hightailed it in and gave up for the day. So today I hit west bay again with my clients. Fog wasnt as bad as yesterday since we had about 100 yards visibility today. I wasnt on any fish so we didnt spend much time in West bay. I hit a few spots and could only muster up 1 red and a couple of dink trout so we decided to go hit the channel for flatties and I am glad we did. Had 2 flounder that were between 5 and 6 pounds along with two 4 pounders. ALso had several normal size flounder. Never got on them good where they were just flying in the boat but we managed a few at each spot and grinded out a decent box. I think the run is going to be over in the next week and we were just catching the last migrants on their way out to spawn in the channel.
