1:36th scale complete with radio, batteries everything! $89.99 at the Sugarland shop. And yes, there is an outdoor dirt offroad track to run them at. :D

Andy and I went to the LHS cuz he was picking up a plane and while we were there I picked up this little truck. We then headed out to Mikey Flores' house where we soon met up with Mod Bob. We had 4 of these little trucks running and Im here to tell yall, they are fun, and they are cheap!

And anytime you can run with Mikey, Mod Bob Andy and I, the competetion aint too bad! :D

Mikey has registered here at 2Cool and soon will be posting up to help us with set-ups and aftermarket must haves. From what Ive seen thats not much. Bearings, oil filled shocks, tires and LiPo battery. Even the motor is stock. Dont need more motor with the Lipo battery since it's about twice the voltage.

Looks like my son might get one these for Christmas. Thanks for the post Biff!
I'm pretty impressed with this kit Kevin. The quality is excellent and even the radio feels good. Alot better than the Mini Z radio! I like this thing!

I had two of the original truck when they first came out - they looked like the XXX-T....think they were calling it the Micro-T. At any rate, they are fun and ran great! The trucks I had were used - bought them off of the forums some place and had to replace the diff and an antenna...think total cost for all of that was less than $10. Cheap does not even begin to describe the costs of maintenance of these trucks! My daughter and I enjoyed them for a while and I sold my pair to Courtney because they just gathered dust! HAHA!!

I've heard from several people that the BL system for these is pretty much worthless. Not that it isn't good quality or anything, just that is only slightly fatster than the stock setup with a lipo, and just isn't worth the cost. But that's only what I have heard. I have almost bought one of these Losi micro's several times, but can't get any of my friends to get one too, so I figured it my get boring just running it around by myself lol... They are pretty cool though. Lot's of aftermarket support and hop-up potential too.

I have also been eyeballing the Kyosho Nano cars, not sure if they are out yet, but they are on the way. 1/64 scale, fully proportional throttle and steering, lipo powered, 2.4 gig controll, and perfectly scale looking. As far as I know they are on-road only as of now, but you can bet there will be an off-road version soon enough. Shoot, with 1/64 scale, you could setup a pretty "big" track in only a few square feet.

Well I guess that just proves that you can't beleive everything you hear Guff! As if we needed more proof of that! lol....

Just did some more checking on the Dnano, and I guess I won't be getting one of these anytime soon! $240 just for the car, another $155 for the "starter set" with radio/lipo/charger! That's insane! I really can't see these things getting very popular at those kinds of prices. It's 1/43 scale too BTW, not 1/64.

ADDED...
$60 for a 1/43 scale body. What the ????..... I have always liked Kyosho, but I must say, after seeing this, I have just lost a lot of respect for them as a company. But I guess some people are willing to pay it...... Not me, that's for sure......

Ive also heard that the BL system is only slightly faster than the stock motor. What makes these things come alive is the batteries. Most guys are going to a two cell Lipo pack, 7.2v. Since I dont have a Lipo charger Im going to build up a 6 cell for the first phase of my experiment. Phase two will be getting rid of the stock electronics and using what I have allready sitting around. I allready have a micro Spectrum receiver that will fit in with no problems and for the speedo I have a Novak micro GT. When you change out the electronics you have to change out the servo. The stock servo doesnt have a driver or whatever its called. They recommend the JR SM22 but I read where some guys are using the Hitec HS-55 which I have several of sitting around from my micro planes. Ill have to buy a servo saver though.

My first round of hopping this little truck up will be all "Budget" items, homemade tricks and whetever stuff I have laying around. lol Second round will be picking up the aftermarket stuff like bearings, oil filled shocks etc.

Round three will be building a portable track. :D I got some ideas! :)
