[Hooked Up]

Any guidance will be much appreciated. All my other reels are Shimano and I prefer to keep it that way BUT that may not happen this time around. I'm not on a "Core" budget and would prefer to stay away fro mg if at all possible. This is for a prototype rod that I am committed to finishing but ole Ike set me back a bit . When I find my "Black" low profile reel and get it on the rod I'll show ya some pics I think will be nothing short of AWESOME! I'm also wondering if they make a quality BLACK mono (10-12 pound test) to spool it with? All feedback welcome. Thanks, Guy

Upon further review scratch the Scorpion. I thought is was black but I just looked at one and it was red.

Guy...go to Cabela's site and look at the Abu Garcia Black Max..Good lookin reel and won't break the bank...Garcia has always made good stuff in my experience...Open the link to 'casting reels' and they got several.. Cabela's house brand reel is about 20 bucks more..and you can go on up in $$$ to Shimano or others for close to 200...LOL..

an old school shimano bantam mag 10, AND IT IS BLACK!
you can always search ebay.
