2016 M2 with standard console. Preparing to replace 2 12v group24 tm batteries with lithium. Batteries are next to fuel tank under console, under water separator. A real PITA to access. Any reason not to go with a single 24v mini 100ah? Ill probaly just use a portable charger as well with only 1 battery, dont see the need for a multibank on board. I cant really find any downside to the mini. Any body run a setup like this?

60 ah is plenty for me running two trips a day with a boat that weighs twice as much with a lot more people on board. I imagine 100ah would be overkill.

A single 24V mini lithium battery is a great idea. It will save a lot of space and weight, and should work perfectly for your trolling motor. Many people run this setup successfully. The only consideration is ensuring the 100Ah capacity meets your runtime needs, but it's a solid plan.
