I don't know about Texas but down here the big rage was an oxygen tank with a stone in your live well. Carrying an oxy tank in your boat is not the smartest idea for a few reason but the biggest reason would be something about accident tank with compressed pure oxy thats just bad to a degree I wont even go to. The other thing is the very tiny bubbles. These tend to do more damage than good because they tend to cling to the gills of a fish and prevent it from actually getting oxy. If you want live fish in your well then pump more water
I never had a problem keeping bait or fish alive w/ my oxygen system.And I'm sure alot of tourny fisherman can say the same thing ! Go ahead and pump in water...ie: recirc....and run into some freshwater or bad water and see what happens to your bait. I'm not takeing that chance......oxygen works great !
