I've been wanting to get to this lake for a long time but it's so hard to drive by crappie to go catch crappie..... I put in about 20miles of scanning and found some areas where the fish were active.... This lake is like Houston and Conroe with a lot of small fish so I had to be target specific to get on the better fish.....
A lot easier lake than Ole Lake Houston....

Thanks.....I was over 10 to 12fow, the black area is the water column and the bottom is the amber....I'm assuming this was a rock or hard clay bottom.... It looked like there was some kind of machinery that made those cuts in the bottom....I had my Garmin Sideview adjusted out 70ft to each side, those groves are bigger than they apper on this scan....

Dude - that is my closest lake (I live in Bryan).
I just got a boat that is up and running and have a new Garmin, but don't have a clue on how to use it.

Any chance you'd like to go with me and teach me how to use the thing? :geek:

Just book a trip and you'll get the knowledge it takes to make it work..... Like anything else you'll have to put the time in to get good at it afterwards.....
