Here are the condition in LJ.

*Power no power anywhere I have seen
*Water is working and sewer for now
*Stores no stores open that I have seen(no food)
*Gas one station open in front of Wal-Mart, long long line.
*Streets main highways are open(caution lots of broke and hanging traffic lights) residential streets have lots of trees, limbs and power lines across them. You have to maneuver and these in some areas.

Lowes is open and selling generators and gas cans very long line.

LONG LINE is right. Saw that and was gonna give an update but you beat me to it. I don't have a generator and need to buy one but not in that line. I cleaned the fridge out already so not in a rush. Hey fish doc how did you like oyster creek drive :) Looks like a bomb went off there huh?

I live on the San Bernard one mile up from the Churchill bridge on the west bank. There is very little damage other than to trees. Power was off when we got back about 11:00 AM but was restored at 12:40PM. I would caution anyone living on the eastbank as far as power being on, since it is provided by Center Point and the westside is Jackson Electric.

Made a short tour around the town still have not seen any power on. Was told that the Exxon on oyster creek and dixie dr is open and selling gas have not confirmed that.
