Hit the rr bridge early Sunday fishing the structure on the west shore line and did fair on crappie using shiners..

It warmed up so went went after what we took the chum for.. We hammered cats in 3' and less on the shore lines as it warmed through the day.. If you find cats full of corn and rice(especially the rice, lol) and ready to explode don't freak out.. there are no rice fields anywhere around.. It just me and a bud baiting again... lol Catfish LOVE soured rice. just a fyi!

Winter time catfishing is good on Lake Houston. We had a good day catfishing Saturday on the lake also. We did not use chum but found them stacked up in the West Fork in less than 2' of water. All our fish came on cut shad. We filled up an ice chest. Most of the cats were Blues which made it a bonus. As for crappie, I can't seem to find them yet. Good job and keep hammering them!
