We always keep Kingfish- I don't know why people give them such a bad reputation! Just like any other fish, it all depends on how it's prepared. We either fry it or make jerky out of it- everybody who has tried the jerky can't believe it's Kingfish when we tell them, and next thing you know, a whole gallon bag of it is gone :D And when we fry it, everyone thinks it is Trout. In fact it is one of my favorite fish next to Ling and Dorado. Oh and I almost forgot- Kingfish makes some if the best sashimi you've ever tasted! Cut thin and soak in Soy Sauce and Lemon with a little Wasabi...man I think I'm gonna have to go make some right now :D
Seriously kingfish sashimi????

Sounds dangerous.... I couldn't imagine eating that soft grey meat raw and cold..
