I plan on going out friday to get some action on some kings, how close are they and have they been picking them up on the middle banks, just asking doees anybody know?

Don't know about Freeport, but they are thick out of Galveston. Just about all pipes and rigs have kings on them. !0 to 20 miles out. Go get-em!

At port a they are at the end of the jetties. i would guess they are that way just about everywhere right now.

caught some yesterday 3 miles out of galveston

They should be thick as thieves, only a couple miles out of Freeport. We'll let you know tomorrow, after our excursion.

Went out yesterday and caught 10 to 43" and never went further then 12 miles out of Freeport. We did not even need to be near structure.
