Does anyone know or have researched why boats are never made (I've never seen one) with the steering will on the left side of a boat? Always wondered....
Has something to do with the clockwise turn of the prop causes a torque that'll make the right side of the boat rise.....so the weight of the driver would offset this.
the area from dead ahead (12 oclock) to 4 oclock is the area where you are supposed to yield to traffic, and that's why the steering wheel is on that side. It's to give the captain a between view of the area he needs to see to yield to other boats.
Ummmm - Reel Blessed, you need to get back to work and worry more about planning that next fishing trip so that you get there when you say you'll be there - LOL!!!
