I got these pictures of my place today from a neighbor who made it in before they shut things down yesterday. What cracks me up is my waders are still hanging from the hook I left them on. Also, notice the yaks are still hanging where I left them. The golf cart is still there, but it moved about 15'. And that last picture looking at through the downstairs at the canal... you're not supposed to see the canal from there. LOL!
You can't see the water line, but is stopped about 3 1/2 feet below the living area. Most of the places on the bayside look like this.
It could be a lot worse. We're all safe and there is nothing lost that can't be fixed or replaced.
I'm reminded of a song from Cross Canadian Ragweed... "Working on Okay". I hope everyone is at least working on okay.
