Headed to Surfside or Quintana as soon as the whistle blows. Caught a few nice trout yesterday, today looks just as good. Gonna grab some live shwimps and try and fill up my stringer

I went down to about access #7 yesterday, right where the condos on the beach are. The surf was kinda dirty from the 3rd bar and in. Seaweed was horrific. Huge mats of it were coming in, almost unfishable. I quickly rolled out of there and headed back towards Surfside several miles. Water cleared up bigtime, and alot less seaweed. I'll be out there by 4:45 or so.

caught 2 big keepers.. couple small ones... But we mainly went out to catch some sharks from the yack for the first time... We spent most of our time trying that

Caught 9 trout 16"-22" and hung on to the mother of all spanish macks. Thought it was a small king at first, he gave my curado a workout. Got him within a few feet of me and made one last run and pulled the hook out of his mouth
