In this undated photo provided by the International Game Fish Association shows Manabu Kurita of Aichi, Japan holding his July 2, 2009 record catch, a largemouth bass caught on Lake Biwa,Japan's largest lake. After nearly six months of waiting, he taking his place along side another angler, as dual holders of the All-Tackle record for largemouth bass each weighing 22 lb 4 oz and caught 77 years apart.

Man, I want to try that down here Meadowlark. Back in Lubbock, the big bass would HAMMER our crappie as we were reeling them up and break off our light tackle. If we threw a bluegill down there, we couldn't even get a sniff. Eventually it got to the point we had to try to reel our crappie up before the bass got to them, and coming up from 40 feet that fast dang near killed them.

they mess with genetics of LMB over there... its not really fair... that fish prob. had a name tag on it... ( all to get the world record ) of an invasive fish to japan...sigh...
