I have recently aquired a texas maid boat(1957) model that belonged to my father back in the early 60's. The boat has really been abused. I want to restore this boat" a 16 footer" and give it back to him on fathers day. I have looked on the internet but cannot find much information on this boat. The hull is in good shape but everything else is trashed, windsheild, interior. I put an old motor on it that he had talked about having on it when he owened the boat the first time. If there is anyone that has information on where a body can find parts or order parts for this boat please let me know.

Thanks in advance,
B.J. Hall

I can remember when Texas Maid boats were built in Grand Prairie TX. I lived there. They went out of business a long time ago. I don't know if you can even get replacement parts for it. I think the old building has even been torn down.
