Look at the bight side...you will be on the dry side of the storm and maybe it will clean out the entrances to both places you mentioned.

galveston county needs to take precaution because that storm i guarantee is going to move further north then what they are forcasting it. sorry galveston but you all shoudl be the ones getting prepared for this storm

East Matagorda bay. For some reason, I have a hunch it will make landfall North of Pt. O'Connor. I hope I'm wrong.

If it doesn't make that turn, I think Rockport/Corpus is in for ride.
