I couldn't believe the amount of damage 50 miles inland. We didn't lose any trees, but these are houses that are next to me and in the general area. We didn't have power for 14 days. Gave me time to play with my camera.

Channel 11 did a story one night on how tall some of the debris piles were....right in front of my house!

WOW, those are some huge trees. Thanks for sharing these. Amazing how far inland the destruction was.

Interesting pics. I went up to East Texas today and you'd be amazed how many trees were blown down up there. Our place is near Rusk and we had 2 24" hickory trees uprooted like they were saplings. Good BBQ wood at least.
