as a lot of you know we were working sampson yarbrow this afternoon and i saw a ling that would probally have won the star tourny. it was around 1400 mm thats a meter and a half. we saw a lot of good fish out there but man it kills me to see a fish like that and no star tag. i hope he can sleep tonight knowing he just lost a boat.

what I call is $45 worth of fishing insurance.... Anyone that fishes should have it. After my mother in law released an 11# gaftop she entered. Gotta have it ...

Fishologist what would you say the weight of that Ling was?

the biggest i have caught is a 40 and that thing blew mine away, i wouldn go 70 but 60's

75 and some change is leading right now. it was caught the first weekend of star and will be pretty tough to beat. buddy of mine caught a big one the second weekend and he thought it would place. he called me right before he weighed in and said "man this thing is over five feet long and fat!". it weighed 49 something so he didn't even get on the board with the 50 lb minimum.
