Just when I had given up on humanity this happens: I had my boat in the shop and hadn't realized they had used quite a bit of gas, I ended up not making it back to the marina (3 Amigos). I drifted and rowed for about 1-1/2 hours and finaly made it to a private pier. There happened to be a wade fisherman about 50' from the pier. He saw my situation saw that I was about to walk with my gas tank and offers me the use of his Pathfinder. At about that time the home-pier owner came out and I explained my situation he did allow me to leave my boat but asked if I had a VHS on board....Anyway I borrowed the waders truck and added some gas to it, returned to my boat and resumed my day! Its not everyday someone allows a complete stranger the use of thier vehicle.

Well, there was a typo there.... he meant to type VHF (My assumption, maybe the guy on the pier mistakenly did ask about VHS, LOL), VHS is a type of VCR media....... but you know... some people can't read between the lines!
