How far do y'all go past the galveston jetties? I went out about 1.5 miles and had no luck finding the Silver King. Do you zig zag or just go in a straight line?

Concentrate on 25-40 foot of water... anywhere from Sabine to Brazos River... they can be anywhere in there. But I'd concentrate a little farther than 1.5 miles.

There have been a few sighting reports this week from the 91st Street pier. The fish seemed to be in closer that normal, 20-25' of water. Watch for the bait and if you don't see anything working the bait, move on. I hope you latch your daughter into one. It'll be an experience she won't forget. Tight lines, Chris
