How is croaker caught and supplied to the bait stands? Fish Traps or seined? Marshes or deep water? Anybody in the know??

The majority are harvested using shrimp trawls. The boats make relatively short drags to keep the fish alive and transfer them to live tanks onboard.

I've fished with croakers about 10 different times. I have never had a bite using them. I believe them to be the worst bait a person can use. Piggies are far better. Just an opinion based on my own experience.
