Housing needed for Todville Road Ike victim...

Do you have a garage apartment, or mother-in-law house, to rent short-term? My co-worker, a DWF with a 14-year old daughter lost their apartment and its contents on Todville Road. They literally have no place to stay. I've been putting them up on my boat at South Shore, but that's pretty small for two people. The gal has recently gone through a divorce, and her credit is wrecked. What few apartments she can find are turning her down due to her credit. FEMA will do nothing.

She works in Texas City, and her kid goes to school in Webster. So if you know of any available short-term housing in the area, please let me know. She's getting pretty discouraged….
