Hog Wild in Texas

I've heard for many years that the hogs are reaching epidemic porportions. I can't figure it out cuz everyone is still trying to charge what I fell are high prices to hunt these critters. If the damage and disease was that bad, I would think landowners would be jumping thru the hoops to get folks to come and hunt them. Maybe I'm just not hearing about these deals or maybe the landowners don't feel its out of control yet.

There's a big difference between GAME animals and pests. Killing for fun is not a good reason but if the critters are ruining your land or putting your stock at risk, then something needs to be done.
