I bought my first bow ever in Jan. of this year (Diamond Rock), and have not hunted for over twelve years. My brother in law took me with him to Commanche this weekend. 1st Hog (approx. 100 lbs) we stalked from about a hundred yards out before he spotted us at thirty yards and started to take off. I know I caught him towards the back, but give me a break he was moving and it was my first bow kill and I was excited. 2nd Hog (approx. 40 lbs) was shot at approximately 35 yards from a tree stand about 30 feet up. I know, I got him towards the back also, but it taught me that I need to buy a light for my G5 sights. Even with the less than perfect shots, both dropped with twenty yards, thanks to my G5 Teken Mechanical Boardheads. I was as happy as a school girl. Just wanted to share the story with fellow 2coolers, and have started searching for leases. This hunt brought me back to hunting and sucked me in.
