The beach front conditions on High Island Saturday were nice. There were tons of bait in the water, but the surf was infested with sharks. We used live mullet, and cut shad, and caught several. When they launch out of the water, a few feet from your kayak, its pretty impressive. I had to paddle one in to get a better look at him before I released, and didn't want his grill too close to my vitals. heres a pic.
