I want to come back to Bacliff but I keep hearing no fuel- no law-too many problems...It is Monday evening - thinking about leaving Wednesday am - will put me there 2:00pm...SO I hear it is hard to get gas and if there is any the lines are too long...Should I stay in Paradise another 4 day's or maybe 2 Sorry to be this way but I'm in God's Country it's hard to leave... Pam & Crocker..I need Advice.. God Bless...

More and more gas stations are opening up but there are still some atrocious lines at the ones open. I think one additional day and return Wed would be a reasonable plan. Every day you wait will make it a little easier and a little more convenient to do the things you will need to do. Good luck on the road and be safe.

My in-laws and one of their neighbors went back to San Leon today with a travel trailer. They are on 1st st. and the neighbor is on 2nd right by the point. The said the area was a mess debris wise but the streets were pretty clear. They said the previous reports of the area being wiped out were overstated. Their house on pilings was in good shape but the garage and the neighbors house took a little over 1ft. of water. They were prepared for the worst so this was all a big surprise.

I live in Baveiw and been here the whole time,Bacliff isnt bad some guy on a 4x4 John Deere had every road passable in Bacliff and Baveiw the day after the storm. Lots of the town has power not all of it,San leon is about 50/50 has far as complete loss goes.HAve you seen my new tractor "Smiles"
