Got A Couple Nice Flatheads And A Few Channels,i'm Having A Hard Time Pinpoiting Things This Season.everyone Says The Bite Is Slow ,but,man.they Picked Up Around 11.30 And Bit Pretty Good.the Flatheads Seem To Be Males So My Guess Is The Big Gals Are In The Junk.talked To A Guy On Clarks Hill Lake First Of The Week And He's Getting Them By Grabbling,so They're Up.catch A Mess Of Them Tonight.i Will Say This The Bait Is In Thick Schools Right Know.
This year the bait(shad)are thick as thieves,here,too. Don't know what to credit it to,other than a mild winter,w/no "kills",and the striper club has instituted a Threadfin stocking program.Gettin' ready to end this Godforsaken dayshift,here @ the hospital,and head home to the lake...Let the ketchin' begin!!
