i have a scout 192 sportfish it is a pad-v hull... Im running a 200 yammaha carbed engine (precision blend)... it has a 23p ported prop on it now im turnning 63mph at 5800rpms, but the prop is pretty wore out i was wondering if i should put a new 23 or go to a 24 or 25? and also will the mercury props fit this gearcase? also this hull requires a 25" shaft motor i didnt know if the gearcases were the same as the 20"... im also running a 6" jackplate...im looking for some more top speed the hole-shot is great with the 23 but i would be willing to sacrifice a little for some more top speed

you could go a 24p and still be in the sweet spot for that motor. Keep the ported design for holeshot.
Also refurbing your existing prop will help out as well.
