My 10yo son took his first deer this weekend outside of Colorado City in Mitchell County. He shoots a Browning 223wssm and dropped this buck at 175 yds. 21" inside spread. He is a mainframe 8 with a bunch of garbage on his right side.

Anybody else notice that buck looks like a muley/whitetail cross.? Dark cap on the head, indistinct white eyepatches and nose-ring, ears, double main beam on one side, coloration.

I believe that makes a pretty good buck into a once-in-a-lifetime trophy!

Great job!

Lance.
