Well, our fishcamp (Spoonbill RV at Smith Point) pretty much took a direct hit from Ike. From what I understand...the only thing left are the concrete trailer slabs. We will be moving the trailer back down to Rockport this week and set up camp just north of Goose Island StPrk. It's a longer drive...but it's also closer to my favorite Mesquite sawmill in Kingsville 8*). I hope everyone is getting along as well as possible. Will keep you posted...j&k

I figured it was a gonner. Sad, but such is life (on the coast). Lots of good fishing down there, especially winter fishing and you have the perfect boat for that bay system. Good luck.
