Any chance anyone , currently on the island, might have been to GYB. Tied my 32 Blackfin FB out between C & D and am trying to find out if she is still there. :frown: She was between the 38 Bertram and the yellow hull 53 Hatt.
Thanking you for any info you might be able to provide

i talked to my fiance today and he said that the bait camp is gone, some boats sunk, some went out to kemah, some ended up in my front yard, and some..just stayed like nothing ever happened. i do not know the names of which boats are where..i just know where ours are...its pretty horrific.

Reporter from channel 11 was doing a broadcast from the yard at Galveston Yacht Service late this evening. Appeared that the boats that were blocked ashore in front of the office washed off their blocks and were resting in the yard or close by.
Air 11 flew over the Yacht Basin late ths afternoon and it's video showed a good portion of the basin. Apparently that portion of the video has not been posted on their website yet.
Just got off the phone with a friend, that toured the basin today, who said that it appeard that B,C & E Docks appeared to have been hit the hardest. A dock reportedly appeared to have faired a good bit better then the rest.
The paint shed at the Yacht Service was reported to be heavily damaged and 'sitting on its side'.
If I find the Air 11 video I will post a link to it.
