Well, I normally don't plant tomatoes in the fall but this year I said what the heck and planted only 4 plants. Problem, I have so far raised beautiful plants full of blooms but they're not setting fruit. Getting plenty of sun, plenty fertile soil, plenty of water....why are my plants setting fruit. Please help..They've been blooming for three weeks now.

If you have blooms you need pollination.... bees?

Some night insects can help too

Had a buddy that was a little heavy handed on the pest mgt. we both felt like he was keeping away the pollination helpers....

Just me 2cents and I could be wrong

More than likely your problem is the same as most on the Gulf coast the last few weeks....night time temps. Tomatoes like to set fruit at 62 to 70 degrees and for the last many weeks we haven't seen those...but now we are and your problem should be solved.

Just an FYI, I had an old, uncle who always was shaking his tomatoe cages. He said it loosens the pollen up. I have Been doing the same about the last 35-40 years. It seemed to,work for him and it seems to work for me. Just saying........cC
