Is there a great Yamaha tech in the Houston area that you can trust to do the job right? I get real nervous taking my boat into some dealers to have my work done. If he or she works in their garage that is fine for me as long as they are honest and really know their stuff.

I had good luck with Acies Outboards down in Bacliff on my older yamaha's and I have heard nothing but good about Meeks in Kemah. Good luck.

Take the engine to Steve at Boats Etc on 146 in LaPorte .........they guy is totally certified and they are all factory trained guys.

You can't go wrong. There # is 281-471-6500.

I second Steve Hicks at Meeks Marine. I wouldn't want anyone else working on my 300 HPDIs. He is very thorough!
