I have a garmin GPS unit with a 2008 map chip. It shows lots of the Baffin rocks and those near the intercoastal and the general area. Can one assume the map is pretty accurate and by avoiding the rocks shown on the map I won't lose a lower unit to them? Is it possible that all the rocks near the surface have been identified and mapped? I'm going out to a friends cabin on the landcut this weekend and it'd be nice to be able to get into Baffin and not be too woried about the rocks. BTW, how's the water depth and the fishing been in 9 mile hole? thanks

thanks for all the great info. Kyle, thanks for the map; I'm gonna print it lot and use it to navigate around the rocks. Found out there's another boat in our group and owner has Baffin experience. I'll be following behind him but not too close. :D
