Finally hit the water early am Sat. did good at the jetty's before wind picked up 3 trout 20", 22" and a real nice 25" all on live shrimp, 1 red 27", went for flounder after that and what a good move, using finger mullet slamed out a limit 15" to 22", a real surprise to see so many people fishing for flounder, but after that little cool snap it had them moving, outgoing tide most of the day, won the tournament I fished with a friend, now I'll have to join the club to fish with him again lol. What a blessed day on the water!!!!!

Nice job Matt Fish,
yours is the best report I've seen in a long time. Good to see some trout with shoulders caught after a summer of dinks.
Ten flounders in a freezer is like having a library in there!!

We were close to the end of the north on the gulf side, also caught a huge black drum about 40" or so on 12# big game and trout rod lots of fun LOL!!! in galveston

I have fished all summer and I have never seen so many dinky trout in the bay. This will go down as one of the weirdest years on record weather wise I have ever seen.
