The xTerra and the family are packed. We leave for Galveston tomorrow morning. If you see us at San Luis Pass on Thursday or Friday stop by and say hello.

I will be venturing over to Surfside on Saturday. Can anyone tell me what the best sign# to hit the beach is? I'll be fishing for Drum and Shark. Would like to find a place that is far from the crowd. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I was at surfside the other day and caught the heck out of sharks off of the jettie about 100 yards out on it before all of the people were thick. We even hooked a hammerhead and got it all the way to the rocks before it tail whipped us.

I'd prefer not to fish off the jetty. I got little 'uns and prefer to fish off the beach. Can you help me with a location on the beach. I'm not lookin' for your sweet spot info. Just a good place to hit the beach. I'll take my chances after that!
