This is a big enough blow for me right here...

Nowcast as of 9:06 PM EDT on September 27, 2004
Now
Bands of heavy tropical showers and possible thunderstorms... will be increasing over the Piedmont of the Carolinas through midnight. Rainfall rates a half and to an inch an hour will cause ponding of water along roadways. As heavy rains continue this evening...especially in urban areas...runoff problems may develop... increasing the threat for flooding. Wind gusts to 40 mph may accompany some of the heavier showers. Forecast for Rowan County NC Updated: 9:52 PM EDT on September 27, 2004 Flood Watch through Tuesday... Wind Advisory through Tuesday...

Widespread heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms. Windy with lows in the mid 60s. East winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
Tuesday
Heavy showers in the morning. A chance of showers in the afternoon. Windy with highs in the lower 70s. East winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 45 mph...becoming north in the afternoon.

What a cool way to do weather! As the "Aunt Joyce's Place Official Meteorologist" you are doing an outstanding job, even though your own home is under the influence of Hurricane Jeanne!
Carry on Fishman! You're doing an outstanding job....and I know for a fact that you work hard to give us the weather information you provide.
