Getting ready for IT!
Thought I would answer a couple questions here about how the hunting was in the LA marsh Post Rita, with a couple pictures. These are from last year, the marsh is back in shape, lots of widgeon grass in the ponds, still mucky on bottom, but getting better. As you can see, the ducks liked it too. This was in Jan 08, looked as good as 04 and 05 pre Rita.
All who were affected by Ike, keep the faith! Winter comes, ducks come with it. Heres to hoping it is always there for us! Maybe this year we will have some COLD weather like we did in 04, this pond was iced over, had to run the boat thru it to make open water.
